Unfortunately, due to a number of different reasons, I’ve had to close all of the CafePress.com shops that contained Adkoc music. You’ll still find a number of links scattered around this site (especially if you’re looking to buy some CDs), but none of them will work. Please accept my apologies.

Sometime soon, I may put everything back up on iTunes (or somewhere else).

Stay tuned… (And, sorry for the lack of news updates.)

I keep meaning to mention that there is an informational page up at Flaming Fish Music‘s Automata Wiki. It’s missing a few pieces of vital information (like any reference of the 1999 release, “Another Everyday Occurrence,” not to mention some other more minor compilation releases), but it’s still pretty cool.

Anyway, check out the Adkoc wiki entry here.

I’m not the biggest fan of MySpace.com, but it seems like musicians are getting a lot of exposure through it. I’ve actually had a personal page on MySpace for a while now, but I rarely use it for anything important. In any case, I’ve recently created a MySpace page for Adkoc. Check it out here. Listen to the latest song release, add us as a friend, or whatever… I appreciate it!

It looks like the new Adkoc album is going to be pushed back to Spring 2005. I am sad about this, but there are a number of reasons. Life has been busy. In fact, on August 2nd, my wife and I bought a house. Buying a house is a big job and as we found out, looking for one is even harder — it took us three months and over 50 houses to find this one. Also, I had a slight medical mishap. Everything’s cool now and, if you read this, you’ll find out where I’m at right now.

Needless to say, the music has been on the back-burner for a couple of months.

I’ll keep you posted.

Automata 7.0“:http://www.flamingfish.com/storev2/customer/product.php?productid=16364 Does anybody want to hear a new A Different Kind of Cop song? (That’s me if you don’t already know it.) If so, the latest issue of Automata (v7.0) is out, in which the latest Adkoc tune, “In Loss,” appears.

Automata is a Magazine/CD compilation put out by the electronic/goth/synthpop label, Flaming Fish Music. The magazine contains a bunch of interviews (including one of me), CD reviews, and more. The CD boasts 17 tracks including some great bands like Jagged Doctrine, Level, and globalwavesystem.

At $5.00 (US), it’s a steal, so go pick up a copy for yourself!
